We have some beautiful trees in Alabama! The kids had fun sorting leaves, identifying what trees they came from, & making leaf rubbings.
We had the most fun dissecting owl pellets! The excitement, the conversations, the discoveries...made this teacher's heart happy! I think owl pellets may make it on some of the kids' Christmas lists. We are working together to edit each others' writing. The kids are beginning to use capital letters and end punctuation more consistently (and correctly). We always cheer for those who are willing to let us edit their writing! We love hearing the awesome stories that are shared! The kids really enjoyed using interactive microscopes, regular microscopes/slides, looking at Arthropods with magnifying glasses, researching animals and watching animal videos on the iPads, observing class pets, and sorting animal cards. |
